L\u00f4 Pham<\/strong> (aka Pham Kh\u00f4ng-L\u00f4) is a French Director of Vietnamese origin, living in Paris. He comes from a Vietnamese family of artists and intellectuals from Hue, Central Vietnam, and My Tho in the Mekong Delta region. He is the son of Pham C\u00f4ng-Thi\u00ean, a renowned Vietnamese writer, poet and philosopher, and of L\u00ea Khac Thanh-Hoai, a Vietnamese pianist and music composer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He holds a degree in Cinema from Quebec, Canada. He has won several prestigious awards in France and Europe for his innovative, artistic work and creativity in various fields of activity. Press coverage includes well-known French newspapers and magazines such as Madame Figaro, L’Express, Le Nouvel Observateur, Atmosph\u00e8res, Metro, Ekwo, Fashion Daily News, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To date, L\u00f4 Pham has written and directed several short and medium-length films, including a documentary on the Vietnam War, “Praying With One Heart<\/a><\/strong>” (2008), a Moroccan Trilogy (Kasbah<\/a><\/strong>, Marbut<\/a><\/strong> and The Peace Warrior<\/a><\/strong>) and two historical dramas, “The Morning And The Night<\/a><\/strong>” (2018) based on the life of Giordano Bruno, a 16th Century Italian mystic and philosopher, and “The Dance Of Orion<\/a><\/strong>” (2019) adapted from the Egyptian myth of Isis and Osiris and shot in Ouarzazate, Morocco, in the prestigious Atlas Studios (Gladiator, Game of Thrones, Kingdom of Heaven…). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u00f4 Pham is currently working on his first feature film, a historical film set in 18th Century Vietnam during the T\u00e2y-Son Rebellion that overthrew the L\u00ea Royal Dynasty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His personal ambition as a writer\/film-maker is to bring life through films to ancient myths, historical events and spiritual tales that contain inspiring truths for our modern times<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
